unbelievable, I think prize money is in good hand. 87 made the task too. We will not have valid day but at least we have tried. Tasksetter always need some proof it was possible to fly his task so he doesn´t feel like complete idiot. Pity thermal window was shorter than expected. Now in NW wind wave is forming over Mala Fatra but no one really have interest. They just want to put their toys back into trailers, I think they enjoyed quite a lot of good flying last week.
we decided on 18 grid and finished launching just two minutes before wind has changed. Sniffer found convergence line and flew to first turnpoint of club class just in straight flight and climbing. But weather is deterioratng quickly, some dark cloudbases but not much sun and club class is already up. Let´s see. Wind is picking up from NW - apparently front line is here. Goulash is beeing cooked and beer is cold. I reckon summer was temporarily switched off.
this will be the tricky one. There is chance for small task but.. everything should change rapidly when frontal system will get to us. I mean everything: temperature, cloudbase and even wind. It is so unsure that we even postponed grid direction. We will have even rain in the evening so it may also spoil our farewell party. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
first and for now only glider who made it home. Some glider home but all of them gave up last TP as far as we know. We will see more after igc files will arive here in scoring office.
it is getting boring, day after day. Today they will have it bit more difficult - at least from ground it looks like that. Just few clouds and south wind will make it a real challenge. A mountain challenge. But maybe we are wrong and they will come smoking fast. Now we have to only sit and wait. Tomorrow cold front will come, but still a chance for some mini task just before first rain drops.
